Cable Clamps and Ties

Cable ties and clamps are multi-purpose fasteners that can be used for a variety of applications, such as tying loose cable into bundles, attachment to fixtures and to constrict movement of the cable or cables. Cable ties operate on a ratchet and gear rack mechanism, which only allows for constriction. This means that when the cable is tightened, it cannot be released without breaking the cable tie. This gives the advantage of creating an attachment that does not loosen due over time due to movement or mechanical stress. Cable ties vary in length, width and thickness, with wider and thicker cables providing more resistance to damage and longer cables allowing larger objects to be bound. Cable ties are a cost efficient solution of fasteners that do not require an airtight seal.
